Motherland
Adventures, Inc. offers self-empowerment and youth entrepreneurial
education as a part of its Youth Entrepreneurial
Initiative Program. The Youth Entrepreneurial Initiative
is designed to promote youth entrepreneurship along
with educational and career opportunities, build self-esteem,
provide motivation for academic improvement as well
as encourage cultural and social development.
Our
youth today are our tomorrow's future. We must begin
now to educate our youth and provide them with skills
they will need to succeed as adults. Our goal is to
teach our past through cultural awareness of our descendant's
spiritual heritage and self-empower our youth to reach
greater heights.
We
provide:

Motivational
Speeches - Cultivate self-empowerment through
academic achievement and improve self-esteem. Through
a series of questions and answers, youth learn valuable
educational lessons about the African continent
and the history of African-Americans. |

African
Jam session: Historical discussion of various
musical instruments - such as communication between
villages - from Africa with audience participation. |
| 3. |
Storytelling
- Deeply rooted in the African tradition, storytelling
is a vehicle through which our ancestors passed
on their history and a creative method to open the
imagination. Cultivate and encourage the development
of youth entrepreneurial programs. |

Fables
and Proverb Reading - Quotes of wisdom used
as a tool to assist our youth in affirmative thinking
and the redevelopment of their minds, bodies and
spirits. |
| 5. |
Cultural
Art display - Presentation of original African
Artifacts on display with discussion. |

The cost of all 5 programs is $550.00. The programs
that you choose will be geared toward 45-60 minutes.
