How long is the flight?

flight is less than 12 hours; 8hrs to Gambia to
refuel, then 2 to Accra. |

What are the medical Requirements?

shot for yellow fever and anti-malaria treatment
is strongly recommended. Please consult your local
health department for detailed information on optional
shots. |

What is the climate like?

Ghana
is favored by a tropical, humid climate that is
both warm and dry. The average daily temperature
will be about 88 degrees. |

Is it safe to drink the water?

Bottled
water is strongly recommended at all times even
though most hotels have filtered water |
6.
What is the currency and how do I exchange money?

Your
tour guide will happily assist you with exchanging
currency and the exchange rate is approximately
$1 US Dollar = $7000 Cede's. It will be best for
you to have $20's, 50's or $100's to get the best
exchange rate... you do get slightly less exchange
for travelers checks, and it is best to carry $1's
for tipping luggage handlers etc. |

8.
What should I pack?

Two
words... Travel light. Light Clothes, washable cotton
and linen outfits, T-shirts. Do not forget sunblock,
insect repellent and sunglasses. Bring confortable
shoes for walking but pack light so you will be
able to move easily from one hotel to another |

What is the food like?

Spicy,
tasty and plentiful. A lot of local vegetables,
chicken and fish is served. Get your tast buds ready
for an adventure. |
